Residents celebrated Valentine’s Day with their partners, families and friends.
A light buffet with lovely cake and cupcakes was offered and ‘Reunited’ entertained us with their well- known tunes from the 60s and 70s.
You could hear the audience humming and singing as many remembered the songs from their early days. One Gentleman let me know that this was the song when he met his wife on the dance floor.
Certainly, nice memories!
A big Thank you goes to Reunited for their great entertainment!
Birchy Hill has a new Highflyer!
Eric Amado-Begines was awarded the ‘Golden Wing’ for being a very keen and proactive member of Staff, very hard working, reliable and helpful.
Eric is always ready to support the Organisation and colleagues alike. He has a kind, caring, positive attitude towards his work.
Congratulations Eric, we are happy to have you in our team!
We carried out some flower arranging for “Shabbat”
Don’t they look beautiful?
Some Residents from Birchy Hill enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Bashley Village Hall where Retro Rita entertained them with songs from the 40s and 50s.
Our ladies and gentlemen were dancing, singing and had a wonderful afternoon tea.
New Milton Dementia Friends invited to this very successful afternoon. Thank you for having us!
At Birchy Hill one all time favourite daily activity is Aquapaint.
This is an easy activity, because only water is needed to create lovely pictures.
The Residents with different abilities are very happy seeing their work.
