Hanbury Court Care Home is in the centre of Dagenham and we can accommodate 34 residents in single rooms, but we also have double rooms for couples who wish to stay together. Our residents require nursing care, suffer from mental health issues such as dementia, or need end-of-life care. A real home from home, our residents have input in deciding on décor, activities and menus, they are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we need an experienced maintenance person to join us. Your tasks will include the following, so you must have a good knowledge of health and safety:
• Electrical and plumbing repairs
• Painting & decorating
• General DIY tasks within the care home
• Maintaining the home’s gardens
• Gutter cleaning and drainage repairs
• General building repairs
• Moving furniture around within the care home.
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
