Rated as Outstanding in our latest CQC report, and determined to keep it that way, Windy Ridge Care Home is a traditional style seaside house within walking distance of the sea. We can accommodate 21 residents, in single rooms, but also have double rooms for couples who wish to stay together. Our residents require nursing care, suffer from mental health issues such as dementia, or need end-of-life care. A true home from home, our residents have input in deciding on décor, activities and menus, they are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we need a care assistant to work our night shifts, 36 hours per week. We need caring and compassionate people to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
Experience is valuable, but not essential. We are looking for genuine, caring and hard-working people who really want to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents. We will provide you with the support and training you need, including induction, the Care Certificate and ongoing development.
With a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, you‘ll be working with our lovely teams to ensure the lives of our residents are happy, healthy and comfortable.
Your role will be to ensure the general well-being of our residents, promoting their independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care. You will help with personal care such as washing and dressing, and supporting people who need help during the night.
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
