Pay: £11 per hour
Cherrytrees Care Home is in the heart of Salford and offers residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 32 residents. Care is personalised according to each individual’s needs and preferences. Trained and skilled staff provide support, tailored for each resident’s physical and emotional needs, whilst helping them to maintain as much independence as possible. We need caring and compassionate people to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to work 36 hours per week. With a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, you‘ll be working with our lovely teams to ensure the lives of our residents are happy, healthy and comfortable.
You must have your NVQ3 in health and social care, and medication training along with experience of working in a care home and leading a team. Your good organisational and communication skills, will be just what you need to lead a team of staff and ensure the smooth running of the service whilst on duty, responding to emergencies and providing guidance and support to care assistants, under the supervision of qualified nursing staff. Other responsibilities will include medication administration and answering queries from visitors and professional bodies.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults and successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure at their own costs.

Covid vaccinations: If offered employment, you must produce evidence that you have either commenced or completed the vaccination programme. If not, you must agree to have both vaccinations, commencing the programme at the first available opportunity. All staff need to be fully vaccinated by 11th November 2021, or prove medical exemption.
