Raising Money for The Care Workers’ Charity – 17-23 April 2023
All our homes are getting involved in this fund raising event. Any member of staff or resident can raise money by being sponsored.

Which shoes will you choose?
These are very difficult times for social care and we are concerned for the people who work in this area. We are raising funds for the Care Workers’ Charity and would like everyone to help us, this is in cooperation with our procurement partners, Purchasing for Good.
Our target is to cover 778 miles in a week, we doubled the number of beds we have to get this figure, and each home has a target based on its bed numbers.
Between 17th and 23rd April 2023 (other dates can be applied for religious concessions), we would like as many staff as possible, and residents if they wish, to get involved and raise money by being sponsored for the number of miles they cover. This could be a walk, run, cycle, swim, dance or whatever you think would raise the most money. The activity has to be self-propelled, so no skydiving!
Unfortunately, only staff and residents can be sponsored but if you just want to donate, please visit our ‘Just Giving’ page mentioned above. Make sure you name the care home it relates to, so they get the credit. If you are a tax payer, please ‘Gift Aid’ it!
