Registered Nurses – Full time Days or Nights – Newlands Care Home

Newlands is in the heart of Salford and can accommodate 30 residents needing nursing or residential care. Most of our residents follow the Jewish faith, and the home is licensed with the Beth-Din. Role:

To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we need 2 Registered Nurses with experience of working in a care home to work full time, one nurse to cover days and one for nights. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

You will need a strong clinical background and very good communication skills to ensure everyone from nurses to carers work together effectively, always keeping in mind person centred care.

You‘ll be good at developing care plans and risk assessments, administering medication and generally ensuring the safety and welfare of all our residents. Promoting best practice within the team to maintain our high standards of care, and maintaining an oversight of all recording, you will also supervise team members and may be involved with induction, mentoring and training staff as directed.
