Role:
To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need a team leader, with a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, to work 44 hours per week.
You must have your NVQ3 in health and social care or equivalent, and you must have had medication training. Registered Nurses – Part time Days or Nights – Newlands Care Home

Pay rate: £18 per hour

Hours: 24 per week

Newlands is in the heart of Salford and can accommodate 30 residents needing nursing or residential care. Most of our residents follow the Jewish faith, and the home is licensed with the Beth-Din. We maintain very strong links to the Jewish community via the Jewish Federation, our resident Rabbi, and the local Jewish day centre.

Role:

To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we need Registered Nurses, with experience of working in a care home, to work 24 hours per week on our day or night shift. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

You will need a strong clinical background and very good communication skills to ensure everyone from nurses to carers work together effectively, always keeping in mind person centred care.

You‘ll be good at developing care plans and risk assessments, administering medication and generally ensuring the safety and welfare of all our residents. Promoting best practice within the team to maintain our high standards of care, and maintaining an oversight of all recording, you will also supervise team members and may be involved with induction, mentoring and training staff as directed. Along with all of the day-to-day tasks there will be the requirement to participate in quality assurance audits.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure at their own expense, and all positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances. You will of course, need to have a valid NMC PIN, and have experience in a care setting.

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Orchid Care Home is purpose-built, with 84 single ensuite rooms for residents who require nursing care, some have mental health issues such as dementia, and some need end-of-life care. Our residents are supported by our skilled and dedicated teams to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.

Role:

Due to a new unit being opened in our beautiful and friendly home, we need care assistants to work full time days or nights. We need flexible and compassionate people to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

Experience is valuable, but not essential. We are looking for genuine, caring and hard-working people who really want to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents.  We will provide you with your uniform, and the support and training you need, including induction, the Care Certificate and ongoing development.

Your role will be to ensure the general well-being of our residents, promoting their independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care. You will help with personal care, such as washing, bathing and dressing, supporting people who need help at meal times, and by taking part in social activities with residents, both individually and as part of a group.
