PAYING OUR LAST RESPECTS
Birchy Hill’s oldest Resident Maria B. wanted to celebrate her 100th birthday this year in April and to receive a telegram from HM the Queen. Unfortunately, she gave up a little too early and passed away in February. As she had no known Family, the Staff paid their last respect in Birchy Hill, from where Maria was brought to Bournemouth Crematorium.
While the hearse left the Home, we heard Andrea Bocelli singing ‘Time to say Good Bye’ in the background. The Staff were very emotional as they had known Maria for years.
Good Bye, Maria, RIP, we won’t forget you!
