Kitchen Assistant – Part-time – Cavell Manor Care Home

Our fabulous, brand new, 55 bed care home has recently opened and we are building a team of warm, supportive, professional staff who will really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need kitchen staff to support our chef and provide a good quality, person centred catering service. You’ll be working 15-20 hours per week, and you’ll be a good team player taking pride in your work and happy to go the extra mile to help maintain the warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. You should be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach, and flexible when it comes to your work patterns.

Housekeeper/Laundry – Part-time – Cavell Manor Care Home

Our fabulous, brand new, 55 bed care home has just opened. We still need warm, supportive, professional staff to join us to really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need reliable domestic and laundry assistants to join our housekeeping team for 15-20 hours per week.
You’ll play a crucial role in making sure the home is kept in a comfortable and hygienic condition, a nice place for our residents to be.
You’ll be a good team player who takes pride in their work, and be happy to go the extra mile helping to maintain the warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents.
Experience of working in a care setting is desirable but not essential as full training in infection control, how to use the equipment, etc will be provided.

Hairdresser – Bank – Cavell Manor Care Home

To keep our friendly home a happy and bright place to be, we are seeking a qualified hairdresser with experience of working with older people. This is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, so the hours and days you work will vary.
Always giving support to our residents and maintaining their dignity and privacy, you will get to know them and maximise their wellbeing and social engagement. Able to cut, set and dry using all the usual techniques and skills, you will really brighten someone’s day with a trip to our sparkly, new salon.

Care Assistants – Nights – Cavell Manor Care Home

Hours: 36 hours per week, day or night shift 7 to 7

Our fabulous, new, 55 bed care home has recently opened and we are building a team of warm, supportive, professional staff who can really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need carers for our day or night shifts. Experience is valuable, but not essential, we are looking for genuine, caring and hard-working people and we will provide you with the support and training you need, including induction, the Care Certificate and ongoing development.

With a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, you‘ll be working with our lovely teams to ensure the general well-being of our residents, promoting their independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care. You will help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing, supporting people who need help at meal times, and by taking part in social activities with residents, both individually and as part of a group.

Executive Chef – Cavell Manor Care home

Salary – £27k per annum

Full time – 40 hours per week

Our fabulous, new, 55 bed care home opened recently, and we are building a team of warm, supportive, professional staff to really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
To keep our new residents happy and healthy, we are looking for an experienced chef to join us for 40 hours per week, and run our sparkly new kitchen.
Ideally with catering experience in a care home or school, you will already hold a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
You will understand the importance of nutritious, varied and well-balanced meals, for our residents’ physical and mental well-being. Your excellent communication skills and your ability to work well within a team will ensure you compile suitable menus, along with input from other members of staff and the residents’ own preferences, thereby promoting choice, dignity and respect.
You will ensure a quality food service is provided, and will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, including managing the kitchen supplies, being responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment, along with ensuring compliance with the rules of Health & Safety at Work in relation to the kitchen and kitchen practice.
