Part time Cook – Cavell Manor Care Home

Hours: 20-30 per week

Pay: £13 per hour

Our fabulous 55 bed care home opened last year and we are building a team of warm, supportive, professional staff who really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

To keep our lovely residents happy and healthy, we are looking for an experienced second cook to join us for 20-30 hours per week. We need caring and compassionate, hardworking team players to help us provide the type of home environment you’d want your own relatives to have.

Ideally, you will already hold a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and understand the importance of nutritious, varied and well-balanced meals, for our residents’ physical and mental well-being.

You need to be reliable, with good communication and time management skills, and will assist in ensuring a quality food service is provided along with managing kitchen stocks and maintaining a clean and safe work environment, to comply with Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations in our sparkly new kitchen.

Kitchen Assistant – Part-time – Cavell Manor Care Home

Hours: 16 per week

Our fabulous, new, 55 bed care home opened last year and we are building a team of warm, supportive, professional staff who will really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.

To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need kitchen staff to support our chef and provide a good quality, person centred catering service. You’ll be working 16 hours per week, and you’ll be a good team player taking pride in your work and happy to go the extra mile to help maintain the warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. You should be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach, and flexible when it comes to your work patterns.

Housekeeper/Laundry – Part-time – Cavell Manor Care Home

Hours: 15-20 per week

Our fabulous, brand new, 55 bed care home has just opened. We still need warm, supportive, professional staff to join us to really make a difference to peoples’ lives. We need caring and compassionate individuals to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need reliable domestic and laundry assistants to join our housekeeping team for 15-20 hours per week.
You’ll play a crucial role in making sure the home is kept in a comfortable and hygienic condition, a nice place for our residents to be.
You’ll be a good team player who takes pride in their work, and be happy to go the extra mile helping to maintain the warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents.
Experience of working in a care setting is desirable but not essential as full training in infection control, how to use the equipment, etc will be provided.

To keep our residents happy, safe and healthy, we need carers for our day or night shifts. Experience is valuable, but not essential, we are looking for genuine, caring and hard-working people and we will provide you with the support and training you need, including induction, the Care Certificate and ongoing development.

With a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, you‘ll be working with our lovely teams to ensure the general well-being of our residents, promoting their independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care. You will help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing, supporting people who need help at meal times, and by taking part in social activities with residents, both individually and as part of a group.
