Birchy Hill is set in the heart of New Forest, in the picturesque village of Sway. It provides care for up to 65 older people who require residential or nursing care. Birchy Hill Care Home is split into five separate units with a variety of spaces for the service users to enjoy. The home also has a gorgeous landscaped accessible garden for residents to use with their friends and family. “The home you want for yourself when looking for care”.
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we are looking for full time carers to join our day and night teams. We need caring and compassionate people to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have.
Experience is valuable, but not essential. We are looking for genuine, caring and hard-working people who really want to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents. We will provide you with the support and training you need, including induction, the Care Certificate and ongoing development.
With a flexible and dynamic approach to providing person centred care, you‘ll be working with our lovely teams to ensure the lives of our residents are happy, healthy and comfortable.
Your role will be to ensure the general well-being of our residents, promoting their independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care. You will help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing, supporting people who need help at meal times, and by taking part in social activities with residents, both individually and as part of a group.
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
