We are truly grateful.

After a week of crafting, carving and decorating for Halloween, we celebrated with a scary party on Monday 31st October 2016 in the evening.
The singer “Jane Parris” delivered swinging tunes from the past that everybody knew and joined in, Residents, Visitors and Staff all shook a leg to well known music and also enjoyed the experience. Everybody loved the songs and showed it by dancing, singing and clapping of hands.
To get their energy back, everybody could feast from the scary buffet, which was prepared by Sam, our Head Chef. Among other food you could find Banana Ghosts, Monster Bones and a Dracula’s Blood Cocktail.
All in all we had a wonderful time together – an event to truly remember

Birchy Hill hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September 2016. Three Staff members baked and donated lots of cakes for this Charity event. Staff, Residents and their Relatives alike all enjoyed a cup of coffee and a slice of cake and a little chat.
We raised an amount of £37.30 + Euro 1.50 which was sent off to support Macmillan Cancer Reasearch.
A “Big Thank you” to everyone who made this possible
