CREEPY CRAWLIES

A small group of Birchy Hill’s Residents enjoyed an amazing day out.

We went to the Hampshire Reptile Centre and could see some spectacular ‘Creepy Crawlies’.

Some of us could even see the invisible ones. After this imaginative and stimulating activity we had a lovely forest walk and before we left the centre, a nice picnic was waiting for us. It was another day to remember.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

After having a lovely picnic and taking some walks through Highcliffe Castle’s grounds

The Residents were very keen listening to some readings from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

They all loved it and listened carefully not to miss anything of this romantic love story.

HIGHCLIFFE CASTLE – HERE WE COME………

As it is Midsummer and a wonderful sunny day, we decided to visit Highcliffe Castle to have a picnic, take some nice walks, and to then try and find our way out of a small maze.

We then finally sat together to listen to the Shakespeare’s play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

It was a great success with all our Residents and they thoroughly enjoyed this day out.

A big Thank you goes to Highcliffe Castle Tearooms, who generously offered us to use their table, chairs and parasols.
