PPE donation by Cheltenham Hackspace members

Cheltenham Hackspace is a member run community workspace, which provides space and tools for their membership to work on their hobbies and interests. Amazingly, they have turned their time and talents to creating PPE for care home staff, and we were extremely pleased to receive a donation of facemasks for our staff.

The team at Cheltenham Hackspace will continue to create PPE whilst they have funding to do so, you can find out more, and also donate, via the following links:

Here are a few links to what they have been doing:

There are Hackspace organisations all over the country, and also https://www.3dcrowd.uk who may be able to help provide PPE on a bigger scale.

Dancing in Poplars

Here at Birchy Hill we agree with Martha Graham who said: “nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion.”
And this is what we do!

Why?
Because … Dancing helps all of us to stay physically and mentally fit, improving the general well-being and social skills.
Because … Dance brings us together!

So …
“When marimba rhythms start to play

Dance with me, make me sway …”
