Staff received a well deserved boost this week when a kind soul delivered gifts for them all. They each received a goody bag containing toiletries and nail varnish. A lovely gesture which was very much appreciated.

Staff at Orchid Care Home were delighted to receive this musical tribute recorded amid the Thursday ‘Clap for Our Carers’ applause.
The son of a resident wanted to express his gratitude for the care given, he said ‘I just want to thank you and the staff at Orchid for your care for dad. In particular for your care of him in his last days when we were unable to visit.’
This obviously comes at an extremely difficult time for all staff and residents, and also for their families, so it was very much appreciated.
