FATHER CHRISTMAS ARRIVES AT BIRCHY HILL
Waiting for Father Christmas had an end, when all our residents at Birchy Hill received a lovely gift from Father Christmas and his helper.
Their happy faces speak for themselves.
The visiting relatives were treated too with mince pies and a glass of Sherry to get into the festive spirit.
THANK YOU ST LUKE’S FROM ALL OF US AT BIRCHY HILL
Tony Devereux , as well as some other ladies and gentlemen from St Luke’s Church in Sway regularly visit Birchy Hill to celebrate a monthly Service with our residents.
We would like to send a very big thank you to everybody being part of this group.
But on the last Friday before Christmas Reverend Jane Mitchell, St Luke’s new vicar, visited us for a Carol Service, supported by Tony and members of the choir.
Thank you all for a lovely Service.
It was very much appreciated by residents, staff and management of Birchy Hill.
OUR VERY LAST PERFORMANCE FOR 2019 AT BICHY HILL..
…. Was from Nigel Revell
We kept him to the last day of our performances for this December, this os one of our residents’ favourites “Nigel Revell”
He and his guitar cheered the audience up and you saw everyone clapping, tapping, whistling or singing.
Thank you very much, Nigel, for this wonderful finale to this year’s Extravaganza!
Merry Christmas and a very happy 2020!
CHRISTMAS SING A LONG AT BIRCHY HILL..
….. with Mike Sidaway
In our last week of our Christmas Extravaganza, Mike Sidaway entertained our residents.
After performing some lovely well-known Christmas tunes, he asked the audience to join in and sing along to the Christmas Carols.
Everybody’s highlight was ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’, which we all sang to the very last verse.
Thanks a lot, Mike, for this enjoyable matinee.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!
