On a warm summer evening Birchy Hill invited “Alan Poulton” to play the piano for our Residents.

He interacted perfectly with his audience and received a lovely response.

Another Boat Trip

The Residents from Birchy Hill enjoyed another Boat trip on the “Alison MacGregor”.

This time we could come very close to the cruise ship ‘Aida Perla’. We had another lovely sunny day out.

Everybody loved the trip and had lots of stories to tell when we arrived back home.

Three young students from New Milton and Ringwood joined us in July to get some “work experience” in a care home.

The Kitchen staff, Nurses and Activity staff introduced them to a variation of equally important duties in a care home.

All three happily joined in and enjoyed their tasks.

Here is another view of the room now turned into a garden

We have decorated one of the rooms and made it into an inside garden.

We are really pleased with it – the Residents and Families love it too.

They do activities in here – dine in here if they wish and an all round quiet room to relax.
