CARYN MORANT RETURNED TO BIRCHY HILL

The singer Caryn Morant was already missed by our Residents.

As she recently gave birth to a Baby-boy (Louie) just 18 weeks ago and could not come earlier.

Congratulations Caryn from all our Residents and Staff at Birchy Hill.

We hope to see you more often this year.

MUSICAL ADVENT CELEBRATION

Birchy Hill’s Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with entertainment by Caryn Morant.

We were spoiled with a potpourri of old time evergreens and some lovely Christmas songs.

Many Residents had to get up from their seats to have a little dance, others clapped hands or tapped their feet to the rhythm.

Most of us were humming or singing even after Caryn had left.

Thank you – you put us all in a very festive mood.

LOTS OF RAFFLE PRIZES TO BE WON

As for all of our “Grand Parties” we had lots of raffle prizes to be won.

The prizes are donated by Families, Friends and Local Businesses, then they were all wrapped up nicely to make them look even more attractive.

From the ticket sales we can get some extra-ordinary activities for our Residents.

A big “Thank you” to the WI Sway and the many other supporters for their help to make it a success!

WELCOME TO OUR GRAND RESIDENTS CHRISTMAS PARTY

Everybody looked forward to this big day in our December Calendar- the “Christmas Party”

Alastair Hume and his Jazz Trio entertained with Jazz music and Christmas songs. They finished their performance with the wonderful

“We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”

Guests and Residents alike enjoyed the background music and had nice chats with each other, it was a lovely afternoon to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Thank you, Alastair and friends!

FATHER CHRISTMAS AND HIS ELF VISITED

Without warning Father Christmas and one of his Elves suddenly appeared when the party was in full swing.

It was a wonderful surprise for all and in some people’s eyes you could see the same sparkle when they saw Father Christmas as they had when they were young children.

We could convince him that all Residents had to be on his “Good- List” this year.

Thank you, Father Christmas, we’ll see you again on Christmas Day!
