STAFF CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER AT BIRCHY HILL 2017

Our Manager Mark Yon said some nice words to show his Staff at Birchy Hill how much everybody is respected and appreciated for their hard work.

We had a little gathering, when nice food and drinks were offered, and gifts from visitors and from the Company which were then handed out to all the Staff.

Thank you!

NO I DIDN’T ……….. YES YOU DID

Friday was Panto time at Birchy Hill. The Residents, some Friends and Families were thrilled by the performance that the London Carousel Theatre delivered.

Cinderella and Prince Charming as well as the nasty step mother engaged the audience. Everyone got involved either in the play or in the singing.

It was a great afternoon, enjoyed by everyone.

We are already looking forward to next year’s “Jack and the beanstalk”. Thank you so much!

WINTER NIGHTS

In December the nights come early and are very dark in the Hampshire country side. But not at Birchy Hill – our Christmas / Winter decorations shine bright and they invite not only Father Christmas to step in for a little visit, but the Villagers all around.

We’ve got already lots of compliments for the lovely decoration from people just passing by or Sway villagers who came to adore it.

BROCKENHURST COLLEGE PERFORMS

Young Performers welcome in Birchy Hill

Brockenhurst College Performing Arts Group gave us a nice morning singing Christmas Carols and some modern Christmas songs. The Residents just loved their performance and joined in with the well known tunes. Jenny and John were singing “Silent Night – Holy Night”, others tapped their feet or clapped hands. The young performers recognised the very calm and loving atmosphere between care staff and Residents.

Thank you, we were very glad having you here this Christmas time.
