SWAY BELL RINGER’S

Four Ladies from the Sway Bell Ringers visited Birchy Hill to perform in front of our Residents. Everybody enjoyed the sound of the bells and listened to the Christmas songs played.

We then invited the Ladies to have a chat with our Residents over a cup of tea and some mince pies.

Thank you for this lovely afternoon!

BIRCHY HILL’S CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

Homemade delicacies, Christmas decorations, and gifts were offered.

Friends and Families of our Residents loved to buy them. A raffle draw took place as well and as so many times before, our Guests (and Staff) won wonderful prizes, which were all donated to Birchy Hill.

A big Thank You to all, who made this afternoon such a great success.

SAM’S CHRISTMAS CAKES

Our Chef Samantha Nash had out done herself with this year’s Christmas cakes. They were on offer in our Café, where our Visitors enjoyed them with a cuppa, and you could buy them from the stall to take them home for Christmas.

Her “pièce de résistance” was her “Guess the weight – Cake”, a hilly landscape with train set made from cake. The lucky winner enjoyed her prize very much.

Well done and thank you, Sam!

MAN IN BLACK

Our very own very talented pianist Luis Andrade spoiled the Residents, Guests and the Staff alike with his lovely music.

He played the piano for the entire afternoon and earned a well-deserved applause by everyone.

Thank you, Luis, you made this Christmas Bazaar special!

OH, COME YE FAITHFUL…

35 young voices from Sway Primary School sang like little angels. They were accompanied by their teacher who played the piano to get them into the right tune. The Residents adored these young talents and gave them a very big applause after them wishing us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

They loved the cupcakes and left Birchy Hill singing and waving “good bye”.

Thank you very much, we are looking forward to your next visit.
