Lyndsey the Home Manager of Newlands brought her cat into work today for pet therapy:) His name is spider Paterson.
This Gentleman M.Cohen does not responded very well to communication.
However when he held spider – his face lit up and he became very animated – attempting to speak and kissing and stroking hm.
It was lovely to see his reaction.

She has a kind and caring nature, is always ready to help the Service, is very supportive to colleagues, and has a friendly, but professional manner.

Once a Month the Birchy Hill Residents are meeting up with the Residents from another Care Home to socialise, listen to some music and enjoy a cuppa and a lovely cake.
Last week we were back in Ashley and had a lovely afternoon.
