HAPPY 101TH BIRTHDAY
Windy Ridge celebrated one of their Residents 101 Birthday last week

ALL ABOARD
Our “Captain” John Leonard was taking us out on a bus trip to the sea side in Barton-on Sea.
He was talking about his life on board the MSS Sheffield, serving in the Royal Navy. He remembered the good and the bad times, the rough and the calm sea.
At the end we were singing some shanty songs, going back to Birchy Hill.
It was a lovely trip to trigger lots of memories.
CHERRY TREES INTRODUCES THEIR NEW ARRIVAL

AN AFTERNOON FULL OF MUSIC
On Friday afternoon at Birchy Hill, Luis Andrade spoiled us with his lovely Piano Music.
His repertoire goes from Classic to Modern, from Jazz to Chansons.
Residents and Family members equally enjoyed his tunes and were singing along.
Ice cream and cold beverages were served to keep everybody cool on this hot summer’s day.
A very big “Thank You” to Luis, whose music is always well appreciated. Well done!
