A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

After having a lovely picnic and taking some walks through Highcliffe Castle’s grounds

The Residents were very keen listening to some readings from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

They all loved it and listened carefully not to miss anything of this romantic love story.

HIGHCLIFFE CASTLE – HERE WE COME………

As it is Midsummer and a wonderful sunny day, we decided to visit Highcliffe Castle to have a picnic, take some nice walks, and to then try and find our way out of a small maze.

We then finally sat together to listen to the Shakespeare’s play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

It was a great success with all our Residents and they thoroughly enjoyed this day out.

A big Thank you goes to Highcliffe Castle Tearooms, who generously offered us to use their table, chairs and parasols.

TOO HOT FOR THE GIRLS………….

Birchy Hill’s cheeky chicks were bored in their own house and garden.

So they went for a little trip into the ‘Big World’.

As it was a hot day, the 3 girls had to have a rest to cool down and chose this small rose bush until feeding time made them running home again.
